@beeant The Readings quizzes on both JCJP versions (desktop and mobile browsers) are affected by this issue. Anyone else seeing this?

This is the first time seeing this issue in my 2 years of using this website.- I am relying on the audio playback in the Readings quizzes to answer the questions.
The Readings feature was completely fine when I was on it a couple of hours ago, but now even the same articles I was looking at before are glitched up. The Chat feature stopped working properly over 8 hours ago though, so it seems unlikely that the Chat problem is a direct cause of this.
Beeant seems to be having a look at the problem with the Chat feature, so maybe this issue with the Readings feature is just a temporary side-affect where beeant is currently fixing something?
Good luck with relying on the audio though. That sounds like a risky thing to depend on. :P- The start page and also the "Latest Vocabulary Encounters" are both affected in the same way.
There have been text encoding related issues like this before, like in my screenshot on the following post, but the issue we have now is obviously on a much larger scale than this:

- The site seemed to be down earlier. Now that the site is back up, all these problems are fixed. :)
However, Chat is still missing all the messages from before the point during yesterday when it broke. Might be working okay apart from that though? - Oh wait, Chat still isn't working properly at all. Chat is in the same state it was yesterday, where posting messages doesn't work reliably.
- Chat is frozen on my end, too. The Readings seem to be okay. Thank you, @mog86uk and @beeant! :)
- I obviously didn't do anything though.
For all I know, it may even have been because I reported the Chat problem (and Beeant noticed and started looking into it) that the Readings issue occured in the first place! :P
Beeant might have done something? but then again, this may have been a temporary problem caused by external factors which sorted itself out. It's hard to guess what is going on most of the time...
