Ooh. Just noticed something on the site that has been changed (I think)! The "encounter history" list seems to go on forever now?

It still starts normal with only the last 5 encounters, but while you stay on the same page it doesn't remove any entries from the list--just keeps adding to it. I just did 119 questions without leaving the page and the encounter history reached 124 items in the list. Resets back to showing only the last 5 encounters when you refresh/leave the page.

Not sure if that's a bug or a random new change, but it's kinda cool. Not sure what would happen now if I answered a couple of thousand questions in one sitting like I used to... :D

hello mog86uk, thank you for noticing the changes :)
Yes, it has been changed and it is meant to be like that. If the server has to load more logs in first load, it would be quite heavy for the server. So the list grow when you stay on the page. But when you reload it, it will only show the last few logs.

I thought it was something like that. I haven't yet noticed any adverse effects, so seems like a nice little improvement. ^^

I'm not too sure what people will want to use the long encounter history list for. Why people would want to look back through it? But seems like a harmless change so far.

For me though, I like that I can search how many times in one session I've been repeatedly asked the same question--to find out if I was just imagining it... I've just answered 100 Practice questions, and then I pressed ctrl+F, typed "中古", and the search results lists 4 matches in the encounter history. The oldest encounter for 中古 in the list says 148:4 times answered correct:wrong, and the newest encounter says 151:4.

It's also useful for finding out whether the previous times answering the same question were duplicate questions. Can look at how many times correct/wrong the previous encounters of that question were to see if it looks like it's for a different question ID. For this session, I now can see that none of the times I encountered 中古 were duplicate question IDs. :P
