I encountered the same problem as Luss. I was unable to resolve it by switching browsers, reloading or trying again. I haven't tried clearing cookies and cash but I doubt it is the case,it is probably an internal problem.
I would like to have this matter checked when possible.
JCJP detects your country from your IP address. Sometimes it matches people to incorrect countries.
The setting to chose your location on here only works if JCJP fails to automatically detect ANY location at all for you.
@Luss, It says your location is Singapore. Is this incorrect?
@Ineedaname, It currently says your location is Israel. Is this incorrect?
I've been detected as being in Italy. And I've seen other users detected as being in the wrong country before. Italian people wrongly detected as being in Ukraine, Filipino people detected as being in America, etc.
I haven't noticed this happen for a few months now though, but pepole may just not have been talking about it. I think what caused this problem was JCJP using an out-of-date IP country list.
If you check out the following site, it tells you what country your IP address is detected as. JCJP should detect the same country for you if the database it uses is up-to-date:

I will test it on my account, wonder if I am going to show as in Netherlands.- it shows Malta, LOL, http://whatismycountry.com/ says the same. My proxy claims it's Netherlands, but anyway, I'd check for proxy.
