- Aoi Eir's songs are really good. She is my favourite singer. Other singers that I enjoy listening to are LiSA, Haruna Luna and Konimi Suzuki. I am a big fan of anime ops and one of my favourites is Unravel by TK.June 17, 2015 at 10:56pm
- Susumu Hirasawa, lol. won't say anything else :)June 17, 2015 at 11:34pm
- Asian Kung Fu Generation, is my favorite band :)June 18, 2015 at 1:33am
- i like NEWS or Tegomass' songs, you can search their songs on Youtube. I really love these songs and their energetic performances: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ybwdJy9Y1Tg

- I really liked nano (ナノ). She's a unknown singer, borned in New York but living in Japan. I really would like that she's more famous 'cause her voice is really great.June 18, 2015 at 5:21am
- Mono : amazing epic and emotional instrumental post rock band

Hybrid Leisureland : very peaceful, ambient electronic artist. great music to study to.

食品まつり a.k.a Foodman: very avant-garde take on the electronic style Juke which originates in Chicago.

All from Tokyo except DJ Fulltono is from Osaka and Tricot is from Kyoto.
June 18, 2015 at 6:04am - I love the classics, so I prefer most anything by Kyu Sakamoto, etc. They are also slower, so (generally) easier to keep up with, if you want to sing yourself. EXILE is funny if you like horrible "English" with your Japanese music.June 18, 2015 at 8:12am
- nano and LiSA!June 18, 2015 at 4:15pm
- Yuki no Hana by Mika NakashimaJune 18, 2015 at 5:36pm
- I like Exile; and honestly it is the only JPop band that drew most of my attention. Its subgroups like Generations are also cool.June 19, 2015 at 12:35am
- Claris, LiSA, and Petit Milady are some of good jpop artists. Kalafina and Kanon Wakeshima have very distinct styles I enjoy as well.June 19, 2015 at 3:04am
- A lot of this list is stuff I already listen to, like Konomi Suzuki, and I probably shouldn't ruin the list by adding the crazy bands I like such as Babymetal, haha...
和楽器バンド (Wagakki Band) :

This live performance they did is just too good!

@telozkope, Thanks for mentioning Tricot. I had never heard a Japanese math band before. That band is very talented and was well worth checking out. ^^
@Arachkid, I feel bad that I had no idea who he is. It's not really my kind of music but I do sometimes like to listen older music -- Anzen Chitai especially.June 19, 2015 at 9:16am - Hironobu KageyamaJune 22, 2015 at 11:53am
