I came up with a studying system that works amazingly for me, I thought I could share it so maybe someone can use it :).

On the left side of the page I write what I learn (in italian) with my explanations and stuff, you can write this however fits you better.

On the right side I write the japanese words and phrases without explanations so that later I can try to read them without any help, if I fail I will re-read my left side and try again later. ^^

  NICE) But I feel that writing takes too much time - I studied for 3 weeks without writing (ANKI, reading, JapaneseClass, textbooks, kanji books, audiocourses, just listening to audiobooks and TV, dorama, anime) and today wrote for a whole day - everything works fine with a day worth of revision - then again several weeks of studying

  I feel writing is part of the learning, writing helps me learn kanji.
  
  Also I love writing kanji :D, feels like drawing, it's very fun to me.
