@beeant: I keep getting this problem in practice mode where words that are from the next lesson that I haven't learned keep showing up, even when I turn off the level it belongs to. yeah, I'm still getting it. Because of this I pretty much only do the 20 questions for attendance because it takes so long just to get that done when I have to keep refreshing the page.- I think there's a good chance this problem came about due to Beeant starting work on adding Level 7. Although it has been three months now since you originally mentioned the problem, but maybe this just means Beeant has been working on Level 7 all this time?
Anyway, this might mean that once Level 7 is actually properly added (scheduled for early next week), then the level settings will go back to working properly again. Fingers crossed. ^^ - Was just looking at your original report of this problem.

Kinda funny reading through the comments, with that crazy theory I wrote back then. Forgot I wrote that, but now that theory doesn't sound so far fetched at all! :P
I notice the level settings aren't as broken as I thought. I forgot some of the specifics of the problem:
・Works properly for "good" and "excellent" status questions.
・Broken for "new" status questions.
(I can't remember how "weak" status question work, so not sure whether there is a problem for them.)
(And "oblivion" status questions are supposed to ignore the level settings, so they are fine.)

Btw, wouln't it be nice if by leveling up you don't get automatically loads of new words, but get the possibilty to "unlock" them by clicking on the new chapters (or an image of a lock or something)
So you can decide yourself when you get your new words?

The name of this new setting sounds very interesting! - Yes, maybe I should just change Encountered to New and NOT the disable and enable switch?
- I'm really sorry but the encountered selection has been removed. I think this selection can be confusing for users especially new users. The code itself becomes more confusing. Moreover there might be possible abuse taking advantage of this Encountered option.
To simplify things and still have the customization to disable New question, I have done some changes in the codes that for example, if you select level 1 only, you will only get New questions from level one. You can only disable New questions per level.
