Awesome! Don't forget to e-mail us when we can start working on Level 8!- @beeant There are still 18 Level 5 users on pages 2 through 18 of the all-time Rankings. They have the EXPs, but they not passed all of the Lessons Chapter quizzes. So are you going to release Level 8 based only on the Total EXPs and not on whether they passed all of the Lessons quizzes?

Oh wow, we STILL need 1 more user to reach lvl 7... Maybe one of us need to get on a different account to hurry things up. These new kids these days seem to be slacking off or something. :P
(Also, I asked Beeant about those users who are over 170k EXP but not lv7, and he said he's calling people lv7 by their EXP not what the stat says. So we do literally just need 1 more person.) ^^- @mog86uk Ohhh ok. So @beeant is defining the number of Level 7 users by EXP only.
Also, most users below #499 in the all-time rankings are still inactive for the past 30 days or longer. If this stays the same, we may not even see Level 8 for a while. - Yeah. We were at 1 user to go yesterday. But the day before I think we were 4 users to go. I was surprised that we still need one more lv7 user 24 hours later.
I have a test account which is only 60k EXP away from lv7. Should only take about an hour to get that much EXP, haha. ^^ - Maybe I'll at least move it closer to lv7, just in case we get desperate with waiting... :P

I have something to do today from 12AM JST. So since the release of level 8 will be done manually, there might be a delay until tonight (JST).
39 minutes and 60.6k EXP later... @169,999 EXP... :P- 1 more EXP then I will release level 8 now without delay!

...Or maybe not. Just went and checked. I'd rather let a proper user be the 500th user to reach level 7, but on the other hand I want level 8 to come quicker. ;D - Looks like there are 200 new vocabulary words and 100 new kanji in level 8. So it's the same amount as in level 7. Can't see the amounts for level 9 yet... :P
- Oh man, at this rate it's going to be a few more days before anyone reaches level 7... I should have just earnt that extra 1 EXP without saying anything, but now I feel like I can't go back on what I said out of principle...
I don't want to wait that long for level 8, knowing that it's completed and ready to be added to the site at any time... bleh. :S - yes, how do you know there are like 200 new vocabulary and 100 new kanji?

Ya it might take a while. From the participants of this conversation, we can put our expectation to @kaito111 to level up faster! :) - @Beeant, Supposedly there are "about 300" level 8 kanji questions (which is very similar to the number of level 7 kanji questions), but I don't know how many of them are compounds. :P
