 What are you working on as a programmer?December 8, 2015 at 11:22am
It was because I had the genius idea to unpark my CPU. Over a period of a few months, it probably proggesively got damaged since I didn't have cooling. Today I was editing a vivdeo for school, then there's this smell of bruning plastic, then a sound of electricity followed by a shock. Computer turned off and when I opened it, the motherboard was fried and the cpu was kinda burned on the bottom.

Luckily, my HDD was undamaged and I saved the video and all my programs, but I'm stuck using a computer with 2GB RAM and AMD Athlon CPU.December 8, 2015 at 11:30am
Really... running a computer without cooling? I think the BIOS of motherboard would have a checking system to check whether there's any CPU fan connected or not. If there is no fan installed, the computer shouldn't boot? Really... running a computer without cooling? I remember when I was in junior high school, I spent time overclocking AMD Ahtlon CPU with Abit motherboard. It was like about 11 years ago! can you use JapaneseClass.jp with Athlon computer?December 8, 2015 at 11:37am
I meant to say "no proper cooling", my bad! I meant to say "no proper cooling", my bad!

It works well, but freezes sometimes when loading a page. Although, when I'm not in fullscreen, the side bars don't show (The one's with practice, Today's Top Users, etc...).December 8, 2015 at 11:48am
So maybe you got to replace the broken one with the new one? is it covered by warranty?December 8, 2015 at 12:39pm So maybe you got to replace the broken one with the new one? is it covered by warranty?December 8, 2015 at 12:39pm
