I found out yesterday that Final Fantasy VI is available on Steam. The version of it is basically a direct port from the Android/iOS version of the game, which is bad in some ways but should mean you can play it in Japanese on Steam too...
BUT... After buying it on Steam and launching the game, I found out that there is no Japanese language option in the menu, even though I had been playing the game on Android in Japanese. I bought it on Steam as I don't really like the touchscreen controls, but I wouldn't have bought it if I'd noticed that the Steam page doesn't list "Japanese" in the list of 7 supported languages.
Luckily however, as explained how in detail in the following link, I managed to figure out a way to get the game to run in Japanese! ^^

Just thought some people on here might be interested, as I've seen other users bring up Final Fantasy topics on here before. FFVI is one of my favourite games. The Steam version is far from perfect, and I can't guarantee they won't decide to forcibly remove the Japanese language files in an update, but it is fairly decent for Japanese reading practice (heavy kanji usage though). I know that I'm going to be spending a lot of time have fun with this. ^^
