2. Why do I have a blank field as flag instead of the flag of Kosovo?

I haven't noticed this issue affecting anyone for a while. The IP country database JCJP uses is/was out of date. I've been detected as being in Italy a few times in the past. I think I remember beeant saying he was going to get an updated IP country database, but maybe this hasn't happened yet?

You can check your IP on an up-to-date IP country database on the following site. On there you can also see a list of all the IP blocks which belong to each country: http://software77.net/geo-ip/

It probably says the correct country on there even though on JCJP it says Kosovo? I don't know about why the flag happens to be blank though...

Yeah I read about this some time ago.
Yes it says the correct country, I'm not sure when this first happened, but I think in the beginning of this month I had the correct countries (Sweden and Germany)

It probably first happened the most recent time your internet was disconnected. Your current IP address just happens to be in the Kosovo block in JCJP's out-of-date database.

If you disconnect your internet connection and reconnect again, the new IP address you are given will probably be in one of the IP address blocks JCJP has correct for your country. There should only be a small minority of IP address numbers which have changed and now belong to different countries, so not many users will be affected by this very often -- only when their internet disconnects and they get one of the few unlucky IP address numbers upon reconnecting.

An alternative way to fix the problem is to just move house and go live in Kosovo... :P
