みなさんおはよございます。
Is anyone else using japan-guide.com? I recently got onto it along with this, and it is great. I am already gaining so much confidence from talking to Japanese E pals. if you aren't using it I would recommend giving it a shot.

When I went on holiday to Japan, I got a lot of my travelling information from japan-guide.com. It really helped me plan where I wanted to go. They have good tourist related info for all the different regions of Japan. But I didn't think there was anything to use related to language learning on there?

You can find pen friends on this site, I think he refers to this.

I checked that site when I read the post, to see if this might be a new feature they added, but I didn't see anything about pen pals. The main purpose of that site is as a guide providing information about travelling and living in Japan. So I wasn't sure if the correct website address was written.

However, I've finally found the "Japan Penfriends" link, down at the very bottom of the page, under the "Community" heading. ^^

ohh yeah sorry about that you can also find it if you hover over "forum" and click friends, that gives you two options either friends in japan (dating site) or j@pan penfriend (pen pal site)

japan-guide has given me helpful advice in the past about tourism and immigration, but I never considered using it to practice writing. I'll give it a try.

Honestly, using Lang-8 for writing practice feels sterile to me. I type what's on my mind, and I receive corrections with not much in the way of feedback.
