- It seems to mean "2nd Saturday", after looking up 第二 by itself in a dictionary.February 2, 2016 at 3:02pm
- I have translated it too. But when I have seen it before during the test it was without translation. I think this is mistake. They should write also translation.February 2, 2016 at 9:47pm
- I think there are a lot of words like this in the kanji section.February 2, 2016 at 10:49pm
- See the complete list I posted only two weeks ago, in the replies in the following thread:
http://japaneseclass.jp/forum/thread/1423
That list is all the kanji questions which do not have translations, just within levels 1-6. 第二土曜 is the 5th one from the bottom of the list.
Kanji question items only have translations if they're a word which is found in the dictionary. Phrases like this aren't in the dictionary, so it doesn't have an automatic definition unlike the majority of the others have. I don't know if there are any plans to give them manual, non-dictionary definitions.. ^^February 3, 2016 at 3:14am - A3agnos, This is what I mean. They come from nowhere and actually not so important. But this is not good!February 3, 2016 at 12:08pm
- mog86uk thank you for the detailed answer. You have done a great job! All these words I have seen before and they are here since long long time. I have no idea why no one can fix it, especially after your great work! You made a very helpfully list of all of them. I think this is unfair, when you practice, make a combo and then you have the words that is not in the list and they come nearly from nowhere.I thought that here is one dictionary and everything comes from the dictionary with translation. it looks like someone or forget and didn't want to fix them.
第二土曜 This is not so important, if no translation will be available, then better simply delete it and that is all =DFebruary 3, 2016 at 12:14pm - I know what you mean. But if you look in the "New" Section (under Oblivion) and switch to Kanji these things are listed as well (with out translation ofc)February 3, 2016 at 8:45pm
