空の星を見て is "look at the stars in the sky" or "i see stars in the sky"?
What are the correct sentences for the two? (Grammar still sucks)

Afaik, the two translations are correct, but it still depends on the usage of the original Japanese phrase. If the phrase itself is the sentence, i.e., 「空の星を見て!」 or 「空の星を見て。」, then the former is the appropriate equivalent. If the phrase is just part of a thought, i.e., 「空の星を見て元気を出す。」, then the latter is probably more correct. (And if we translate what I wrote it would be something like "I feel better after seeing the stars in the sky".)

I still suck at grammar, but this is how I see it from what I have learned so far. Hope it helps.
