  英語（えいご）English (language).
  英国人（えいこくじん）Briton (Brit.) / Englishman.
  素晴らしい（すばらしい）wonderful, splendid, magnficent, excellent, great,... (=smashing).
  
  That's just the first thing that entered my mind and is likely not the best option for how to say it. For a start, イギリス人 is by far the more normal way to refer to a British person; however, 英国人, for emphasis purposes, seems more apt in this particular context... :P
  
  In any case, I wouldn't describe my use of English as being all that amazing. Studying Japanese seems to have had a negative impact on my ability to write sentences in English. Somehow, although I virtually never practice speaking Japanese, even the way I speak English seems to have been adversely affected by it.
  
  Ten years ago I was fine... But now, without really realising it, my sentences often end up with clauses not in their most natural order. In my speech especially I drop too many parts of my sentences and very frequently end my sentences unfinished (leaving the unsaid parts of the sentence implied). And I think I overuse and misuse punctuation, with commas, semi-colons, parenthesis, and dashes thrown in all over the place, just using them wherever it feels right, to allow me to complete awkward long sentences that naturally come to my mind (sentences like this one itself...).
  
  So, even if what I write appears to be well structured English (somehow), I'd still be cautious about taking it as being a good example of natural English prose. ^^;
