They are the same thing. I hear いえ more when people are talking about the location and I hear うち more when they are talking about home as in family. This is in my area. I know that in other areas the use is reversed.

I think....IE 家 literally means a house while UCHI 内 means in your own private circle like a family,a team etc.....
