What do you mean by sentences? Are you trying to just memorise phrases like those in tourists guides? If you're just trying to use it as practice then you might as well buy a travel guide with sentences.
If you don't mind visual novels, you may find it a good source for reading practice with the help of some tools. There are also sites that offer light novels online for free so you can use rikaikun with it to help you read them.
