Hello I am new and trying to learn japanese. My question is how on earth am I supposed to learn all of the beginner hiragana? I am 5 chapters in and it is proving extremely hard to remember previous chapters.

It's fairly easy to memorize them in just a few hours. I recommend looking up Tofugu's guide on Hiragana and studying that. It helped me a lot.
Me too! Tofugu suggests a Hiragana game that is great!
Try to write them down as well. It helps with memory.
If you use the guide of tofugu it'll be a piece of cake. I learned it in about 3 days with their help
The best way to memorize hiragana is to write them down. I was able to learn them in a very short amount of time with this method.

I can't handle doing Kana Invaders. I fail completely, lol. ^^;
