This is really weird, sometimes the set of answers includes two or more acceptable ones but only one is correct, but here you obviously picked the only correct answer! o.O'

@Scripteladora, You wouldn't have lost your combo from that situation.
If you look at where it says how much EXP you gained/lost from the question, it says "Answer wrong 70 EXP". It should say a minus number if it really thought you'd answered it wrong.
7 EXP is how much EXP you earn from level 1 kanji items, and 100+ combo gives you x10 EXP bonus. 70 EXP is what it would say if you answered it correctly.... If it was properly marking your answer wrong, then I think what it would've said would've been "Answer wrong -14 EXP".
What actually happened here would be something like a communication issue between the server and your browser, which causes this problem where it no longer knows which answers are correct and wrong. In this situation it says "Answer wrong 70 EXP" for any answer you click, but you don't actually receive or lose any EXP, nor should you lose your combo either when this happens.
This happens occasionally and can happen to anyone. I think it normally happens when Beeant is doing something on the server at the same time you're doing the question, like a quick update or reboot, something that can cause a loss of communication. But idk about this stuff really. ^^- Still though, it would definitely be a lot better if the site displayed something different whenever this situation happens, rather than giving the impression that the answer was wrong. ^^;
In this case I did loose the combo though. Sometimes I loose other times I don't. . Sometimes it's a bit frustrating and I take a Hiatus from the site. in the last days I already lost the combo 5 times.... but there were also occasions where I didn't loose any experience or combo. And It's usually is in answers that are obvious. I don't know if it's a bug or as you say connection issues... but it happens. Sometimes you loose combo other times you don't but it happened. I've had at times tried to click all the other answers afterwards and all were wrong. ... this time I didn't even do that... and I still lost the Combo- @Medyrius true. - Medyrius. True It's really weird .Sometimes I click in the other answers and all of them are wrong . I don't know ... it's weird. If you click in the right answer you shoud get the right result at all times.
I had this happen when I did some practice on my computer, left the browser open, then logged into my account on another device and did some practice. When I went back to the original computer and tried to click on an answer from that old page that hadn't been refreshed it did this. It also did this the first time I tried having two accounts logged in on the same browser.- It's always best to refresh the page when you've been away from it for a while
