How to say "My city isn't clean, but it's interesting" (in Japanese)

私の町はきれいじゃないですが、面白いです?

or do I need to use the adjective combination structure with で and say:

私の町はきれいじゃないで、面白いです

Thanks for your help!

The first one is correct. "De" is usually used as an "action" conjunction.

I think the first one is better as those two adjectives are contrasting with each other, so using ですが seems better. My town is not pretty BUT is interesting.
If you wanted to say it's "pretty and interesting" then きれいで、面白いです。seems to be better.
