Suggestion : Acquaintances

Hello,

Thinking this site was really good for learning japanese, with it's experience and level systems, not forgetting the whole combo stuff, i brought some friends of mine who were interested in trying to learn Japanese.

The matter is that i know their account names, but not ther ID (that f***ing number associated with their accounts), so i cannot check on their evolution easily.

So i thought : Maybe am I not the only one in this kind of situation ?
Then, I wanted to suggest one thing, not knowing if the Backend of the site would allow this easily, but no harm in asking :

Would it be possible to add a kind of acquaintance/friends system without using facebook, or do you not plan to do it ? (I hate facebook, to tell the truth)
