advertisements getting in the way

I was just using practice mode when an advertisement to the effect of "on your way" something or other popped up. I promptly clicked the "x" button, but it wouldn't close. I tried clicking on other parts of the ad, but nothing could be done. Since it was in front of the questions, I had no choice but to end my streak and refresh the page.

Any idea on how to fix this or why this is happening?

    I am sorry for this problem. Actually I really don't like putting ads on JCJP, however I need to make some money to keep this site running, such as to pay for the server.

    If you can know which ads is it, please tell me. Otherwise I will contact all the advertising company.
