Tips for learning Japanese vocabulary effectively every day

Hello everyone!

Learning vocabulary is one of the most important parts of learning Japanese, but many of you often find it difficult to remember and forget easily. I want to share some tips to help you learn vocabulary more effectively and interestingly:

Learn by topic:
Instead of learning vocabulary randomly, divide words into topics such as family, school, work, food... This helps the brain to connect words more easily.

Use flashcards:
Use flashcards (traditional or applications like Anki and Quizlet) to review every day. You can write the Japanese word on the front and the meaning or example sentence on the back.

Create stories with new words:
Try to combine new words into short stories or imaginary situations. This way will help you remember the words longer than just learning the meaning of each word.

Review in cycles:
Don't learn everything at once. Review after 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 1 month… This is the “spaced repetition” method that helps you remember for a long time.

Combine listening, speaking, and writing:
When learning new words, listen to how Japanese people pronounce them, try saying them out loud, and write them down. Combining multiple senses will help you memorize vocabulary faster and more firmly.

I really want to know if you have any other vocabulary learning methods. Please share so everyone can learn! 😊 https://spacewavesgame.org/
