this is so hard!!! i thought this was going to teach me how to speak it not read it!!!

there do exist podcasts and similar audio teachings online. either you use that or get a real japanese teacher. But then again I doubt they will just teach you how to speak, rather you have to learn how to write the "alphabete" and the kanjis. I have seen some attending jap classes and that is common. And sooner or later you will have to read japanese text to build up your vocabulary.

and as japaneseclass.jp clearly states:

# Practice, improve and enrich your vocabulary and kanji

hope you still enjoy this site though.

and surely it will be a good suggestion about adding voice to single words or even phrases.
