Hey there!

I just joined today and I wanted to learn Japanese just so I can communicate well on Japanese games, able to read visual novels without the need of translation and able to translate a paragraph or a story for my friends to read.

Unfortunately, I feel like being rushed so I am gonna take it nice and slow, and easy.I don't have the luxury for having Japanese classes so I turned to the internet and frequently ask my friends for book recommendations to learn Japanese.Anyway, nice to meet you all.And I am gonna ask if you guys don't mind.What's the best way to learn and memorize Hiiragana and Kanji? Any book recommendation? Other sites?
