Hey man,
I didn't mean to spoil our race but today was my only day off for the rest of the month. For the next two weeks I'll be super busy and only able to spend maybe 10-20 minutes a day on here so I knew I wouldn't be able to keep up with you guys. Plus I managed to isolate a small group of kanji questions that had only been answered 24/25 times and decided to just milk those as far as possible.

Very well done! Your window of opportunity for reaching rank 1 was probably getting extremely narrow anyway? Medyrius has picked up his pace recently, even getting 25k in one day. I was concerned at the time I suggested our race that I might have ruined your chance to reach rank 1 after you'd put so much effort in. I thought I might have accidentally prodded the slumbering beast, Medyrius, who could virtually annihilate the chances of ever reaching rank 1 if he suddenly decided to go all out. Good thing you did the surprise 100k offensive as soon as the gap was narrow enough before there was time to defend against it. ^^
Well done for beating me in our race. For a short moment I thought I actually had a slim chance of winning. I hope you took a screenshot though, as you might only have a very short time at rank 1 in the current situation (unless maybe level 9 suddenly gets added!). I took a screenshot just in case:

Yea, my window was definitely disappearing. I wanted to wait until there was like a 60,000 point gap so I could do a succesful overnight sneak attack on you guys but the longer the battle went on the less questions I had available to answer with full points.
Yesterday was my last chance not only because of the point situation but also because of my work schedule being crazy for at least the next couple of weeks.
Yea I definitely got a screenshot. I'm trying to change my profile pic on here so it actually has my face on it for my official records lol. But I'm having difficulties.

I didn't see this one coming at all! xD My plan was to make your race last for a while so I tried to match you guys' daily exp thinking the gap was still too large to be filled without me noticing...

Congrats to @Mog too, you did impressively well considering how hard it must've been grinding those big chunks from reading quizzes only ;)- @Wiggly, I'm pretty relieved you reached rank 1 when you did, as I have a busier week than usual this week. That, and my arm probably couldn't take too much more of the stress I was putting it under anyway. ^^
Hopefully I don't lose too much momentum from resting this week and get too much further behind, as my new goal I'm setting myself is not only to overtake both you and Medyrius (somehow) but also to reach 10,000 completed readings quizzes to overtake Jackbosma's record for that! :P
Doing the Readings quizzes at a rapid speed actually feels beneficial to my learning Japanese. So it feels worthwhile to spend time on it. It's like a website version of the "Kotoba-chan" app I use a lot on my phone but seems more fun. - @Mog, I actually thought the same thing about the reading at one point, it felt like a very efficient learning technique!
Also glad to hear the race fire isn't dying off after all... There's nothing like a good challenge to keep you motivated...
