I took a peek at the ranking list and just out of the blue, I wanted to see if the newcomers are all having a good time. And I was dumbfounded of what I saw. How could someone have negative XP? Honestly, I was quite surprised of the fact that somebody else, other than me, was having a "VERY" hard time taking it all in. Don't give up now, mates. We've come this far by not giving up. I'm seriously rooting for you guys, the ones that aren't giving up no matter what the scores say. Cheers.

What I meant is Jack has very negative EXP very often, making me think it might be likely it was his EXP you saw in the rankings. If it were him then it wouldn't be much to be concerned about. The EXP system on this site gets a bit unfair in the endgame stages, where eventually answering a question correct will cap to awarding only 1 EXP but answering it wrong can still take away as much as 28 EXP. Even people doing reasonably okay with learning Japanese can struggle to stay out of minus EXP territory at that point on this site.
You don't seem to be doing too bad at all anyway though? You're currently 3rd in this month's rankings. ^^ - I have 800 plus readings that can't be completed!!! That has me in negative numbers too!
I just signed up!! And I’m soooo excited!! My love for anime is what brought me here. Any advice for starters like me??- Just keep going at it and use your love for anime to push yourself further. Best of Luck.
