If you don't choose the wrong answer it doesn't break your combo or makes you lose exp, even if it shows the "Answer wrong" text and the red bar. (੭ ˃̣̣̥ ㅂ˂̣̣̥)੭ु
As others have said, you shouldn't lose EXP or combo when this occurs. It doesn't say you lost EXP, since it should say minus EXP if you had. It says "60 EXP" rather than say "-8 EXP" or whatever. So as long as you didn't click any wrong answers after this, you should still be ok. ^^
