Unfortunately it doesn't seem like there is anything that can be done. It's a shame. We used to have some good conversations in the social feeds in the past. Now the social feeds page might as well not even exist, since it is pretty much unusable with the current level of advertising bot spam. ^^;
That is so sad and annoying :(
Though I didn't participate much, I enjoyed reading some of the stuff people would post.- Actually, I have some good news! The spam problem is in the process of getting fixed now! ^^
If you scroll down a few posts, you'll see an old post by FelliVox related to what we are talking about. A couple of days ago, Beeant (the site admin/owner/developer/etc) replied to that post saying he's implemented a change to the website to hopefully reduce the amount of spam we get.

It already seems like we're getting less spam than usual the last couple of days. The situation is looking much better now. ^^
