Meh, I'd prefer to know what I just said without clicking a translate button before. Maybe you could put this into the settings dialog so that one can decide whether to show it directly or not.
I would also like to get asked for the meaning of a Kanji, not only it's reading since this was the acutal reason for this suggestion.
I think it is better having hidden as it is now as you 'struggle' to try and recall the information which means you learn it. I think having it there immediately detracts a bit...
Kupo - Isn't that just reverse vocab option in practice for the meaning of a Kanji? or do you mean in tests?- Having four possible answers to choose from distracts a bit as well.
Reverse vocabulary only tests vocabulary but not the Kanjis learned from the Kanji lessons.
