Is there an easy way to remember hiragana symbols(like the vowels)?

    In this case, I went with the old and boring repetition method. I know that there is a Heisig book (Remembering the kana) that is intended to make things easier, but never tried it.
    Anyway, I think it´s better to NOT get "stuck" until you get 100% in any evaluation. Like, if you you are studyind/testing the (aieou/kakikekou) group, move to the next (sashisuseso/tachitsuteto) even if you get a score of 60 or less, and let time fix the ones you haven´t got well yet.

    What was most effective for me learning hiragana was printing spredcheets and wrote them down on paper, that also gives you practice of stroke order which is important not only for writing but also reading.

    if theres a song you like in japanese maybe try writing out the lyrics in hiragana? i did that and a lot of repetition :')
