ありがとう、ストーカーさん。 ...don't actually use that, unless that is the context you meant. :D

Hmm, I left it a while for someone else to give a sensible answer, but I'm stuck with 不眠症 at 9am in the morning and am not really sure what else to do instead... -_-

So, here's a REALLY useful bit of grammar to learn:

"Thank you for [verb phrase]" = [verb phrase -て form] + くれてありがとう

Basically, you just change the verb into its -て form and add くれてありがとう.

Now I'm guessing you meant "thank you for following me" as in people following on Twitter, etc. ?
I looked on Twitter and set the site language to Japanese. Follow is written as フォロー and the button for to follow someone (verb) is simply フォローする. So you just need to change the する verb to its -て form = して. So...

"Thank you for following me." = フォローしてくれてありがとう。

i think the easiest way to figure this out would be to go to japanese twitter accounts, and read what they write to followers. one of them is bound to thank someone for following them eventually. so you can observe what people normally say, and then copy that.
