beeant san gneki? I was just wondering how the oblivion system works. what causes an item to go oblivion and how many times do you have to practice it before it leaves the list?

I'm not beeant but an item goes on the oblivion list if you have not answered for the word or Kanji for a month. Also a word should go away if you answer it once. That's my understanding of it.
This was mentioned in previous posts. All I know is that it is partially linked to how many Practice questions you answered 30 days ago. It may also be linked to how many you answered in the Lessons and Readings as well. @beeant (site admin) and @mog86uk can explain it in detail.
If it is meant to go off the oblivion list once you answer it in practice then my oblivion list should have decreased another by now but alas it is still over 900 items -_-
