- You`re probably looking for 旬? If this is the one, it`s read as SHUN and it means season.
For example:
旬の果物 shun no kudamono = in season fruitOctober 14, 2014 at 7:09am - hmm thats looks close. but definitely, unless the game has warped the kanji ALOT.October 14, 2014 at 7:17am
- Mmmm..I have just now seen the picture you posted from the game. The word appears to be 仲間 なかま (mate, companion, friend, etc.) but I don`t know why the second kanji looks like that. Very interesting! Let me look more into this.October 14, 2014 at 7:28am
- 间 is the Simplified Chinese form of 間, which is why you can't find it in Japanese dictionaries. ^^

Strange that a Japanese game is using simplified Chinese characters, although maybe this is accidental usage, it could be caused by using a Chinese font.October 14, 2014 at 7:32am - thanks man. yea you must be right. :)October 14, 2014 at 7:33am
- i see very interesting. It was just bugging me coz it kept coming up. thanks for the helpOctober 14, 2014 at 7:35am
- I thought it`d be Chinese...it had that simplified Chinese look. In fact I was going to recommend www.zhongwen.com but I dismissed it considering the game is Japanese. O.o
Odd.October 14, 2014 at 7:40am - Wait, isn't that Kingdom Hearts?! Okay then, so it's obviously not an accidental use or Chinese font, unlike what I suggested of the top of my head. Here's the actual explanation for it:

Good idea playing Kingdom Hearts in Japanese. Are you playing the English version of the game, is there a Japanese language option? or is that the Japanese game?October 14, 2014 at 7:40am - yea its kingdom hearts 2 hd remix. the japanese version. thought it would be a real good boost to my Japanese level.Since i played the hell out of the English version way back on ps2, i still remember a lot of the lines and stuff. so its good to see the dialog along with the subtitles and learning a little every now and again. its going to be a good resource to me, espeacially when u get sick of studying plain stuff ant least its a fun game and you learn new word every now and again to jott down. :)October 14, 2014 at 7:46am
