I think I like downloading anime more than actually watching it. I really have never been too into the stuff, except Conan. Usually I just think "おぉ、面白いそうです" then DL and forget. The whole folder is 126 GB, and with the exception of Elfen Lied (which I've seen about 5 times) I haven't had the time to watch any.
I was able to watch Yami Shibai (闇芝居 lit. Dark Theater) - all the eps. are only 4minutes long, so, it was pretty painless. I would recommend it as (because most the dialogue is people thinking to themselves) for a horror anime, the Japanese is easy to understand. Neat animation too. More of a stop motion looking style than actual animation.

i really liked cowboy bebop and another I recommend those :)
And of course anything by studio ghibli is a win
yoooo watch Samurai Champloo man. i've yet to find any anime as captivating on so many levels; character development, fight scenes, philosophical concepts...
same renowned director as Cowboy Bebop but Samurai Champloo tops it imo.
Dude, watch 進撃の巨人. Seriously, it is that awesome.
One of my random Christmas presents was the blu-ray of Castle of Cagliostro. Watched it only a couple of nights ago. The Lupin films definitely feel a bit dated, but was still cool and funny to watch.
Like Beee said above, definitely make sure to watch Attack on Titan!
Cowboy Bebop is very awesome, Elfen Lied too. Outlaw Star brings back some old memories, athough it might feel a little old now.
Studio Ghibli goes without saying. 闇芝居 was pretty cool thing to watch just before going to bed, lol, but the episodes in the second series didn't seem nearly as good. Not watched that other stuff in the list though (yet). :)
I'm kind of the same, although I actually have stacks of unopened DVD box sets I bought over a year ago... large series like Ranma, Inu Yasha, Slayers, You're Under Arrest. I've probably a worse problem. :P- @Mog you should be watching inuyasha and slayers right now :P
Samurai Champloo is my shit. The first ten minutes of the pilot are even better than Elfen Lied's, which is saying something. I'll get on AoT when I feel like being depressed all day, watched the first ep and it was sad. First on my list is Another.
Elfen Lied starts good and then it plummets. The logic is bonkers. It becomes incredibly stupid.
I really have a bad habit spending hours looking for stuff to download(sometimes though it has a cleansing effect when I'm stressed from work for instance) and it's of course impossible to watch and read all this stuff. But I do watch and read tons of them.
