  I bought the Ju-on DVD for my sister's birthday several years ago. I don't think she was too keen on watching it when she opened the present.
  
  Anyway, she watched it and didn't say whether she disliked it. However, afterwards I think she found the cover of the DVD case too scary to keep in her bedroom, so the DVD mysteriously ended up living in my room permanently... So the following year I decided to follow this up and give her Ju-on 2 ! Same thing happened... Now I'm the owner of both DVD's! I thought this was an amazing system for giving presents to your siblings on their birthday... scares them and shortly after they give the DVD to you without saying anything, because they don't want to admit that it was scary! Haha. :D
