New semester started, my new 先生 is fantastic.
The classes are an hour and a half, and we have this ５分休み in the middle. He has this likes to bring up youtube videos of Japanese Metal Bands for "Culture Lessons" or aka "Hey I like this band come check it out". The last two were Nightmare and Babymetal. (He is the lead singer in a metal band, go figure.)
今学期、卒業するつもりですけど、アメリカに帰りたくない。
たくさん友達がいるし、国が大好きし、でも、難しい。両親に会いたい。
クソ。どうしたらいい？４月がある。

Get your parents to come out here? A new experience for them if they've never been, if they have, they know how awesome it is and it shouldn't take much arm-twisting.
Your new teacher sounds really cool! I think if a male teacher showed a Babymetal music video in class here in the UK, he'd probably get arrested a few days later... :D
