Anyone else having a loading delay issue with kanji questions?
This is only with "kanji" question type, not "vocabulary" nor "reverse vocabulary". For me the kanji questions take around 10 times longer to load than their counterparts, so it should be pretty noticeable. Or is this only happening to me?

It's not happent to me at the moment.
I have a pretty fast loading time for "kanji" questions as well as the rest.
Here's some statistics to show what I mean. I performed this test an hour ago. All the questions were answered in the Practice feature; the Practice Settings were set to default (all levels 1-8 and all question types); and I had no questions in my Oblivion list. All these questions were done in a row, completely randomised encounters, with no breaks:
Total questions answered = 100.
58 vocabulary (no oblivion ones) = 0.10 secs to 0.42 secs.
42 kanji (no oblivion ones) = 3.37 secs to 4.37 secs.
That is the range of the fastest and slowest loading time, from all those questions. None of the 58 vocabulary questions were slower than 0.42 seconds, while none of the 42 kanji questions were quicker than 3.37 seconds...
This was happening for a whole hour, but I haven't checked again for over an hour now. 4.37 seconds isn't a majorly slow loading time, but it is still ten times slower than 0.42 second loading time of vocabulary questions. Other people may have slower loading times in general, depending on your internet connections, and depending on the distance between your country and the server. If it is happening for people besides just me, it should be noticeable enough to see still.- I've already reported this in more detail to Beeant, but I don't think he's online at the moment. So I wanted to check whether it's not just me it is happening to, to save some time with figuring out the cause of the problem. ^^

I just checked it again for the first time since I did the test over an hour ago. From what I can see, the only factor which is different now to earlier is that my Oblivion list is no longer empty. Earlier, when I was performing these tests, I first had no kanji Oblivion (only vocabulary Oblivion), and then later in the tests I had no Oblivion at all. Now I have both kanji and vocabulary Oblivion items.
It might be possible that this bug only happens when you have no kanji items in your Oblivion list. However, it's also possible that this was just a temporary issue and maybe it was only affecting my account and nobody elses. There definitely had to be a bug causing the problem, but I guess it's going to be more difficult to narrow down what causes it than I thought. :/ 
I've noticed long pauses on loading questions on and off, but I didn't notice whether it was only kanji questions, and I certainly don't know what other conditions might be necessary to reproduce it. I had assumed it just had to do with user load on the site, but that's also an untested hypothesis.
I was taking Kanji test in level 1. When I finished 4 sub-levels, all of sudden the test got hanged. I tried to restart that level but it kept hanging at same point. So, I had to stop doing that for the day.
is it still happening now?
I suspect that this problem is caused by heavy server load at certain time. JCJP usually upgrade the server every year. However this server, JCJP has not gotten any server upgrade. Maybe it's time to do it soon.- I managed to finally clear my Oblivion list and test this again. It's still happening, for me at least. ;_;

I've just finished another test. I let my Oblivion list build up again. I had 158 Oblivion items: 35 kanji and 123 vocabulary. I went on Practice and set it to kanji questions only (all 8 levels), then answered exactly 50 kanji questions all in a row...
The loading times of the first 35 questions, all of which were Oblvion, were between 0.14 ~ 0.48 seconds.
The loading time of the remaining 15 questions, none of which were Oblivion, were between 3.43 ~ 4.31 seconds. - I guess, to further narrow this down, I should probably let my kanji Oblivion build back up a little and set Practice to kanji only and to a level which I currently have no kanji Oblivion for.
This would prove whether it's something wrong with having 0 kanji Oblivion, or if it's something wrong with non-Oblivion kanji questions at any time.
Still have no idea if it's just me that this is happening to though... :/ - Ok, yep. This bug simply affects all non-Oblivion kanji questions in the Practice feature, for me. I have 51 kanji items in my Oblivion list and this problem still happens if I set Practice to specific levels which I currently have no kanji Oblivion for.
I checked whether this also affects kanji lesson tests, but I found it does not. This bug only affects all non-Oblivion kanji questions in the Practice feature.
