Is there anyway to speed up my kanji learning (except Anki, which pretty much rules out SRS programs)? And are there any Japanese test that let you "translate" things somewhat?

I just created a kanji worksheet printout feature for all JapaneseClass.jp users to practice writing kanji. The on page of a kanji worksheet will let you practice to writing the kanji for 100 times. To print the worksheet, please take a look at the kanji lesson page, and click on the "Print Worksheet" button.

    Thanks beeant. :)

@A3agnos, You're welcome! Do you like it?

Ooh, new feature! Looks pretty cool for people wanting to learn to write kanji by hand. Nice.

I want to mention the free kanji writing trainer at http://www.kanji-trainer.org/ again. Learning to write the kanji can be very helpful for remembering them. Also, a book on the etymology of kanji such as Henshall's "Guide to Remembering Japanese Characters", or a book which systematically introduces simpler kanji and then the more complicated ones built from them, such as Heisig's "Remembering the Kanji", can also be helpful.

@mog86uk yes, thank you! What do you think? Are you going to use it?

@beeant, I'm haven't really been thinking about learning to write kanji by hand, but some day I will get around to it.

Those sheets look pretty decent though. I'm not sure about having a whole A4 page just to practice a single kanji, or writing one kanji 100 times, but other people learning the kanji for their first time will probably like it this way. ^^

Yes I like it. But as mog already mentioned, I will not write the same kanji 100 times. Still it's nice so you can write, let's say 10 times, and after some time you can practice on the same sheet again. (y)
