Warui kedo....
I know both 危険な ・ きけんな, and 危ない ・ あぶない mean dangerous...
so, if both entries in the database having "dangerous" as translation come up in the group of 4 items, how to avoid making this "mistake" shown in the screenshot?
According to https://hinative.com/en-US/questions/151052, there is no difference between the two words in meaning.

    Yeah. This one has been mentioned a few times before. I've been caught out by it at least twice. The only way to avoid it is to read all four answer choices even if you've found a 'correct' answer already. You were unlucky that it put the answer it wanted at the bottom of the list. That's the main way it happened when I got caught out. xD

    It would be much nicer if this situation was never possible in the first place. I think Beeant said something about how it would slow down question loading time, when I asked about it a long time ago.

    At least the problem for you isn't as for me, with my answer-by-typing mod... With my mod, all four answer choices are hidden, and the answer has to be typed instead. So I have no way of knowing that there are two 'correct' answers in the list when it happens—just really bad luck if I happen to type あぶない instead of きけんな... ^^;

    So you appear to have settings that I cannot find? WIth me the settings (kanji hiragan) are always "reset". That is, if I do a setting kanji only, this functions, but the next time it shows the hiragana again. I don't find a setting "writing"...
    I am too bad at the moment to try that, but i am curious

    I made the writing add-on for myself; there's not setting for it. I created it for the purpose of making Practice more challenging, so that I could learn the words even more thoroughly.

    As for the Practice settings, the settings only affect your current Practice session. Every time you leave or refresh the Practice page, it is designed to reset the settings back to their defaults. I've made my own add-on to make Practice save and remember your settings. ^^

    If you want the Practice settings to save, the link below is where you can get the userscript add-on I made for doing it. Some other users are already using it from when I shared it before on here. ^^

    Thank you for the setting add-on, fun indeed! Panic button for free :-)

    I'm glad you like it. ^^
    I forgot about the panic button. I threw that in there for a laugh. It simply acts as a shortcut to the "Save Settings" button which you normally have to open the "Settings" menu to see. This button might actually be kind of useful for the problem you encountered, because clicking this without changing any settings simply causes Practice to load a new question (or often the same question again but its randomised answer choices list should load with different answers, hopefully not ones having the same issue). :)
