    Don't you mean いっ歳 (not that it would ever be written like that anyway)?

    No, 一歳 is いっさい, not いちさい. ^^

    Yea i dont know kanji it just automatically went to the kanji when i spaced so yea

    It went to いつ歳 instead of 一歳 because you wrote it with the normal size つ (rather than the small っ). The main thing I was talking about in my first sentence was just about the つ being wrong; not so much about the kanji.

    いつさい -- space --> いつ歳
    いっさい -- space --> 一歳

    With the wrong size つ it thinks you wrote two separate phrases, いつ and さい. ^^

    Or just write "issai", since I doubt you know how to make the small っ, I don't remember how to make the small っ since I write as it sounds and it interprets it well.

    And this whole time I always got so confused why people put "tsu" when really it was a space! Thanks Mog :) or Moogle x)

    @Shaela, Hmm. I'm not sure what to think about it being referred to as a "space", but I'm glad to hear it helped you understand it better. ^^

    ↑This page is pretty good at explaining the small っ in a way that's simple to understand, along with some pronunciation help too.

    Thanks! I'll read up on that too
