    イシア? No clue, really. I didn't find a translation on Google. And Google Translate gives me イザヤ for Isiah because it wants to correct it to Isaiah. I found this Wikipedia page that has it translated somehow, but it doesn't look right:

    I'm pretty certain Isiah is a common alternate spelling of Isaiah, and should be pronounced exactly the same? So it should be the same in Japanese katakana as Isaiah would be.

    I have a Bible written in Japanese. As FelliVox said, Isaiah is written イザヤ in Japanese. The Book of Isaiah is イザヤ書 (Izaya-sho), and "Prophet Isaiah" is 預言者イザヤ (Yogensha Izaya). ^^

    I reckon this is how it's separated: イ(I)ザ(sa)ヤ(iah)
    I bet they went from the English pronunciation to make that.
