Hmm i found the word かっこいい(Cool/Handsome) on tae kims guide Yet when i put it into jisho dictionary i found: 格好いい Which supposedly means the same which should i use?

    I believe the Hiragana one would likely be best. The Okurigana doesn't seem to be used nearly as often.

    The "full version" is 「格好(かっこう)が良(よorい)い」, which literally means "Good appearance". The が is then omitted to form 「格好良い」, and then the う in 格好 is omitted too to form 「かっこいい」. Usually in informal situations かっこいい is sufficient, but 格好(が)いい can be seen in books, or in a literary situation.
