- Not sure which of these you mean:
A) take a Japanese course at a university?
B) take a course at a university in Japan?
If you mean A, ↓this one↓ I'd personally love to do. ^^

...But I wouldn't exactly describe it as a good idea. And, in any case, I have near zero chance of being accepted there with my current qualifications. It just seems like an incredible course, the list of subjects couldn't really be better... Professor Bjarke Frellesvig being one of the teaching staff is enough alone that I'd take the course even if I was 100% certain I'd fail it completely. :PDecember 31, 2016 at 10:31am - I guess it probably depends on where you live. But sadly, where I live you'll be unemployed for eternity if you only choose the Japanese language and culture (politics, history, literature etc) as a major.
Unless you want to become a researcher or professor in that particular field, choose Japanese only as a minor subject or even study it just as a hobby.
If you combine it with economics/business/management and the like and get some working experience in Japan, then you might get a good chance to find a job in a Japanese company or a company that works primarily with Japan.January 2, 2017 at 5:58am
