I think you're right. Maybe it could be thumbnail, but not thumb.
Thumb is 親指 「おやゆび」.
I corrected this error in the Spanish vocabulary some time ago, but interestingly, in the upcoming revised version of the English vocabulary, this error persists. This is really strange because the revised version of the vocabulary is made by a English native speaker from U.S.
My English sucks, so perhaps we're wrong, after all...
Any opinions from English native speakers would be nice!

it has been fixed to "fingernail, thumbnail"- Not bad, but it seems it's a much more general nail.

Anyway, beeantさん, remember that the alternate vocabulary is wrong, too.
This could cause problems entering sentences, because they don't use the main vocabulary.
