Unchecked subscriptions boxes not working
I keep getting alerts that I got replies to a comment thread even though I have all the subscription boxes unchecked. It's annoying to have to delete 5+ emails every morning and more throughout the day. Any way to stop this?

Short answer: There is no way to stop it.
Long answer: You possibly could change your registered email address to something different. However, this would make all mail from this site go to that new address. You'd have to be very certain nobody else will ever own that address (or could just use another address you own, or create one)...

You can also just filter it in your email program so that it's deleted as soon as it arrives.- Yeah, what FelliVox said. With gmail I filter messages that come from "[email protected]" to just automatically skip my inbox and instead go directly to a separate "JCJP Notifications" folder (label). This way I can still find the emails on the rare occasion that I want to, but I never see them coming in or get any alerts.
I just use the notifications feature at the top of the page on this website itself to find out if I have any new notices. It would still be nice to have some way to turn off reply notification emails in the settings though, for people that would prefer this option. - Makes sense! Thank you all so much
