    隠岐の島町久見の高丸地区で、後期旧石器時代（約２万～３万年前）の黒曜石の採掘跡が見つかり、調査した竹広文明・広島大大学院准教授（考古学）が１９日、発表した。黒曜石は現在でも工芸品などに使われているが、後期旧石器時代にさかのぼる採掘跡は珍しいという。
