something new going up on my resources list:
Niji show (www.myniji.tv): A fantastic source for some japanese listening comprehension and entertainment. It's a free program that you can easily sign up for. The program is installed to your computer, you login with your account information, and then you have free japanese television with 11 different channels to choose from.

- I tried making an account, however after 30 minutes I still havn't received an activation email (I've checked spam) and now it won't let me create another account with the same email. Did you get your activation email promtly or was there a long delay? The software doesn't seem to let you view any channels without logging in? (;_;)October 2, 2014 at 11:54am
- I got mine imediately using my yahoo.co.jp emailOctober 2, 2014 at 2:54pm
- Strange. I still haven't got mine for gmail. I think if the activation email doesn't randomly appear tomorrow, then I'll just make a yahoo email to be able to sign up. ^^October 2, 2014 at 3:23pm
- I made my yahoo.co.jp email for the exposure, I use Gmail for all my personal stuffOctober 2, 2014 at 5:58pm

- I can't seem to get the download working. Anyone having the same problem? :/October 3, 2014 at 12:23am
- Made a yahoo email account and it took about 60 seconds to recieve the activation email. The software works fantastically; really good picture and sound quality. The 11 channels are all work perfectly. I can't believe it's actually free... seems like there must be some catch, but I haven't noticed anything suspicious. It does say it uses P2P technology though, so I'm still going to be a bit cautious using the software.
@otaKato The actual link to download the software works perfectly fine for me. Or do you mean the video streaming isn't working when using the software? You need to log in and probably to allow it through your firewall. ^^October 3, 2014 at 12:52am - This is neat, thanks for sharing!October 3, 2014 at 2:20am

I seem to be doing something wrong. When I click on the download link on the first page, my browser opens up another page with another download link, which I then click on only to be led to an error page and no download. I tried on Chrome and Internet Explorer.October 3, 2014 at 2:29am - @otaKato
Instead of clicking the big download icon on the first page, look to the left of this icon for two small links named "ミラーダウンロード 1" and "ミラーダウンロード 2" (ミラー = "mirror"; ダウンロード = "download").
Either one is fine, as both link the exact same location. These download mirrors are direct links to the download file. Pretty much nothing should be able to go wrong doing it that way... :POctober 3, 2014 at 9:00am - I'm having some download issues too...
Whenever my computer tries to open the setup, it says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."October 3, 2014 at 11:50am - Nope nevermind got it fixed. Norton 360 thought it was a virus and kept deleting it, so I just told it restore it and then exclude the program from future scans.October 3, 2014 at 11:53am
