I am hopeful that someday more vocabulary will be added to the lessons in the future. 1700+ vocabulary is certainly helpful and with the kanji lessons and readings vocab gives lots more opportunity. I think that expansion is really important. Has there been any thoughts to some structure such as jlpt levels for future lessons? I think that jlpt vocab and jlpt kanji lessons would be popular and helpful. I am really enjoying the readings section here. I have been using tango master for windows since the spring...someone here suggested that. Thank you to that person!! I really love it. It does a great job of keeping track of progress even among overlapping lists!! Wow. I have worked through N5, N4 and N3 vocab and am now working on N2. I worked through N5 up to N2 Kanji...working on N1 Kanji. I would like to echo the suggestion of tango master. It had multiple choice quizzes and keeps track of your progress more than Anki! I use it on my windows phone. I am hoping that this site can someday have even 1/2 the amount of vocab that tango master has (over 20,000 vocab). Good luck to you all. I've started to enjoy doing Readings on here a lot recently, as I've about reached the limit of the usefulness of Practice on here. Readings is pretty fun now that I've been learning near 2000 kanji in Slime Forest Adventure.
As you are someone who has used the Readings feature a lot, I just wanted to ask if you regularly experience any problems with the results page loading after completing Reading quizzes? And when you return to a Reading page which you've previously completed the quiz for, do you get the error pop-up every time the page loads (after about 10-20 secs)?
I'm just wondering if I'm the only person who gets these problems. I really want to use the Readings feature more, to increase my vocabulary and encounter all the kanji I've learnt more regularly. Good luck with your studying. ^^
I have had troubles quite a bit with the reading section since the transition to the new site. I do get the pop up a lot. Using the back button is sometimes the best way to get back to where I left off. You are not the only person with this trouble. I don't like the girl with the x sign anymore...it was cute at first. :) I like to have jisho.org up while I do the readings. The real denotation is sometimes not what is listed in the vocab translation...you have to take the automatic nature of the translation with a grain of salt...the reading section is still very valuable.
