So this showed up in the test but I can't seem to find it in the lesson. This is from chapter 9 kanji. I checked and it seems this is the kanji for Shinjuku

I can't find 学 (がく) in the chapter 1 kanji either.
That's because the tests test you on compounds of each kanji as well as the kanji themselves. The compounds of the kanji are in the bottom right hand corner of the box that explains the kanji, in light blue- Actually not even bottom right hand just bottom lol idek why I said that but yeah hope that helps
@wahaj The previous version of the website probably had 新宿 in the Chapter 9 kanji Lessons page. When @beeant transferred our accounts to the current JCJP website, the old Lessons section was replaced with the current Lessons section.
oh I see. well thank you for pointing that out. At now I know the reason behind this.
