Its 3500円 Idk about in america. Physical copies are better, but, I have both on PDF and if you want the homie hook up, I can throw them at you.

I have Genki I hard Copy. New it is about $50. It is pretty good, though I am told having the workbook makes it better. The workbook is about $25, have not bought it yet. The Dictionary of Basic Japanese Grammar is supposed to be really good too.

Genki is great and you can find a torrent of the older version as well as the work books and answer key.. I didn't like the arrangement of the textbook so I rearranged it in .pdf format to make it more intuitive. Ganbatte! :)
